Okay some of us have talked about this but I don't think everyone has heard so here:

Yes this is a school for more fantasy characters, mythical beings or those with some sort of power, but some of us do have more Human OCs and we've figured out a reason for them to attend the school still, that is, they're there to help the others learn to act more like a normal human. Of course they'd have to have been carefully selected by Stephen/Jennifer to ensure that the place stays relatively secret, so there aren't many of them.
